Why Portland Taiko?
Portland Taiko, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, presents outstanding Asian American
performing art; educates community members about Japanese and Asian American
cultures; serves as a catalyst for bringing diverse people and generations
together; breaks down negative stereotypes of Asian Americans, other people
of color, and women; and builds community support for cultural diversity
through performances and educational activities.
