  • Check-ins and social outings with PT members

Learning Opportunities

  • Dedicated skill-building time with Portland Taiko

  • Learn PT repertoire & gain performance experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Learn about office and non-profit organizational operations

  • Understand PT’s mission & explore Portland’s Japanese American history

Dates: June  – August 2026 (flexible)

Prerequisite: 1+ years of taiko experience, including performances

Compensation: 15-20 hours per week @ $17/hour, shared housing provided for non-local interns
